2010 Harbors, Navigation and Environment Seminar and GreenPort Americas

May 4, 2010
Charleston, South Carolina

Always of significant interest to ports, the Harbors, Navigation and Environment seminar will encompass a broad range of dredging and environmental issues of vital concern to port managers and other senior port executives. The program will focus on sustainable port design, adapting to the effects of climate change, reducing emissions from goods movement, social aspects of sustainability, economic recovery strategies to promote sustainable ports, and carbon neutrality at ports. This year, the two-day HNE seminar will be followed by a one day GreenPort Americas program that will bring together international delegates tasked with creating or implementing environmental policies, regulations and procedures within ports, terminals, shipping lines, transportation and logistics companies.
