This two-and-one-half day seminar is designed for engineering professionals and covers engineering issues related to bulk, breakbulk, neo-bulk, and container terminals. Topics to be addressed can include project planning, owner-carrier-ship interface, maintenance, development in wetlands, dredging and project mitigation, terminal simulation, terminal equipment, intermodal development, berthing and fendering, and paving systems. Emphasis is placed on applications of rapidly evolving computer technology such as simulation and computerized design and drafting.
